Report an Issue

If you have encountered any issues/bugs, Please report it to us using the guidelines below either through mail or post it in our forum. We will try our best to get it fixed as soon as possible.

I. By using MX Player:

  1. Whenever you have the problem/issue, Immediately Open Menu either by pressing hardware key or by tapping on the menu (three vertical dots on the top right corner).
  2. Goto Help & select "Bug Report".
  3. Kindly make sure that System Logs, System Settings & App Settings are selected as we need logs to identify the root cause of the issue
  4. If you are willing to send the report by mail, make sure that "Save to File" option is disabled. Then Just tap on OK button & select your email client (like Gmail or Outlook App). Kindly explain the issue & Possible steps to reproduce the issue in the mail description and send it to us (mxvideoplayer@gmail.com).
  5. If you want to report it through our forum, kindly make sure that everything is selected in bug report window including "Save to disk" and tap on OK. MX Player will save the logs in your primary storage device & will show a toast message with the exact location. (File name will be in the "report_YYYY-MM-DD_HHMMSS.zip" pattern). Create a new thread in our forum. If you can't attach the bug report just share the link after uploading it in any other cloud storage.

II. By using MX Log Collector:

  1. On some occasions you can't even enter into the MX Player. On such case you may required to use MX log collector application to collect the log. It can be even used in normal conditions. It's a very small application which can be downloaded either from playstore or from website.
  2. Just launch the MX Log Collector Application immediately after crash/problem. It will open a dialog window which is similar to the MX Player's bug report dialog.
  3. Kindly make sure that System Logs, System Settings & App Settings are selected as we need logs to identify the root cause of the issue
